Coles issues second recall of Coles Italia Pesto Al Basilico due to possible presence of peanuts best before 24/09/2021.
Sold in Coles Supermarkets nationally and Coles Online.
Coles is recalling a second batch of Coles Italia Pesto al Basilico 290gm, sold nationally at Coles Supermarkets and Coles Online with BEST BEFORE 24/09/2021 due to an undeclared allergen, being the possible presence of peanuts.
This follows a recall on 31 January 2020 of the same product with BEST BEFORE 28/08/2021.
Consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if they consume the product. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
The product recalled includes:
- Coles Italia Pesto al Basilico 290g
- Best before dates: 24/09/2021 and 28/08/2021
