You might notice a Partner delivery label against some delivery slots. Our partners are third-party providers who help us to get more deliveries out to more customers. Need a fast delivery? Our partners can usually help. Just ensure your address is accessible or leave clear instructions for the driver where to leave your order. You’ll need to be contactable by phone in case the driver can’t find your address.
To get an order delivered same-day, you'll need to book it in no later than 11am. Please note, this is subject to availability and our same-day slots sell out fast.
Once your order has been scheduled for a delivery van and ready to be delivered to you, you’ll be emailed an estimated time of arrival. Unexpected things, like traffic, can alter our arrival time. If your order is running late we’ll do our best to notify you via SMS.
If you’re going to be out, we can leave your order at your delivery location. Select Unattended delivery when prompted through the checkout. You can make requests like, "Leave it on the porch." You can’t choose an Unattended delivery if you have liquor or tobacco items in your order – for these a signed delivery is required.
Remote delivery is now offered in most areas of Australia that are 100kms or more away from a Coles store. When you enter your address for delivery, you'll be shown a list of distributors/transport providers we currently work with, who deliver by road, air and barge.
Fees will vary depending on your location and we'll show you these when you select your delivery slot. We charge you for boxing your order and taking it to a third party location. Your transport provider will charge you a fee for delivery and this cost is determined by them. You will need to pay the delivery fee separately and direct to your transport provider.
Depending on your local store, you might see two bagging options however due to current COVID-19 health measures, we're currently only delivering orders bagged.
Since 2012, Coles has partnered with REDcycle to collect and recycle household soft plastics. However due to current industry-wide challenges with soft plastics recycling, REDcycle has advised that all plastic collections will stop from 9 November 2022 until further notice.
This means Coles won't be able to accept soft plastics recycling until we can make an alternative arrangement.
Coles is committed to our Together to Zero Waste ambition. We're working with government, industry and our sustainability partners to find a long-term solution for soft plastics recycling as soon as possible.
